B2 UPPER-INTERMEDIATE SPANISH LEARNERS can understand the main ideas of complex texts on both concrete and abstract topics. They can interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible. In addition, they can produce clear, detailed text on a wide range of subjects.
1. NOTILOCAS EN VIDEO: crazy but real stories from all over the world.
2. MINI-DIALOGUES: short situations with key conversational vocabulary.
3. SPANISH TEXTS: more interesting articles to develop vocabulary and listening skills through reading.
4. INTERVIEWS: unscripted interviews with native Spanish speakers.
5. SPANISH BOOSTERS: ridiculously short segments with tons of useful conversational phrases.
This a selection of news stories that I have come across on the World Wide Web and decided they were too good not to share.
While crazy and sometimes even bordering on the ridiculous, these are actual evergreen stories told by puppets!
Now, make no mistake, this language is as authentic as it gets. The voices and pace of speech are real-life and showcase a broad sample of language from different parts of the Spanish-speaking world.
My goal behind this work is to enable learners to have a good time while learning tons of real conversational vocabulary and developing their listening skills in the process.

HOW TO WORK ON THESE STORIES
The crazy stories on our website are a terrific tool for learning descriptive conversational vocabulary and improving listening skills.
These MINI-DIALOGUES for intermediate+ learners (B2*) build on that vocabulary and place it in realistic conversations.
As the name suggests, they are short in nature, which can be challenging for learners. It’s the fast pace of interactions that usually throws foreign language learners off. Not anymore—these dialogues and their corresponding activities will train you for the real thing.

I have designed these activities with three kinds of intermediate learners in mind:
a. The struggling learner who, despite working really hard, cannot understand what is being said, and/or…
b. The busy / tired person who can’t afford to spend too much time on full-fledged listening exercises.
c. The listening enthusiast who enjoys spending time on listening exercises.
These texts build on the ones for B1 Learners but use more complex vocabulary and structures, appropriate for B2 Spanish learners.
For texts 1-40, check B1 section.
